For proper and undisturbed movement of medium (like fluid or gas) through the hoses, it is very important to install the hoses in proper assembly. There a number of ways to install the hoses, depending on its purpose. Following are some of the ways a hose can be installed:

Static Installations: A static installation ine in which misaligned pipes are connected using a flexible hose to make it in a static position.

Occasional Flexing: is an installation where the hose has to flex occasionally. For e.g. In a manually operated equipment.

Constant Flexing: is an installation where the hose has to flex continuously, like in moving machinery.

Vibration: is an installation where high frequency and low amplitude movement is required, for e.g. on a compressor.
